2015 Scion FR-S | DSPORT Track Tested

Scion invited us out to the Streets of Willow to test model year 2014 & 2015 Scion FR-S along with the turbocharged Scion FR-S TRD Project Car.

From Scion.com
“The 2015 FR-S has taken the automotive community by storm, thanks to an unparalleled combination of low pricing and driving dynamics, and thanks to improved suspension tuning, we’ve made it even better than ever. Up front we’ve added stiffer mounts for the front suspension, which combined with the retuned rear shocks, result in a more communicative ride with less body roll than previous model years.

To match its improved handling dynamics, we’ve also made a few exterior changes for a more aggressive appearance. The standard antenna has been replaced by a sleek and aerodynamic shark-fin antenna, while larger exhaust tips poke out from underneath the rear bumper, giving it a more flush appearance.
Changes extend to inside the cabin, where the dash panels have been updated with a carbon fiber appearance trim, and auto on/off headlamps have been added. And, to top things off, the 2014 Scion FR-S also includes a newly designed key as well.

The Argento color is being replaced by a new color called Steel, while the premium Whiteout paint is also being replaced by a new pearl shade of white called Halo, available for an additional $395.

Pricing for the 2015 Scion FR-S Starts at $24,900 with a six-speed manual, or at $26,000 when paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with Dynamic Rev Management.*
